Share Captain Andy Hatfield started his career as a firefighter in United States Air Force from 1984-1988. He joined DCFD #2 as a volunteer 1988 - 1992 and became a paid firefighter in 1992. Captain Hatfield recieved his Paramedic certification in 1992 and received a Bachelor Degree in Business Management from Northwest Christian College in 1999. Captain Hatfields responsiblities and activities include:
Captain Bullock joined Douglas County Fire District No.2 as a volunteer firefighter in 1986 and served in that capacity until he was hired by the district as a career firefighter/EMT in 1989. During his time with the District Captain Bullock has worked up through the ranks of firefighter, engineer, lieutenant, and his current position as a captain. While employed with the District Captain Bullock has continued his education receiving his paramedic certificate through Umpqua Community College, completing his Associates degree in fire science through Umpqua Community College, and has obtained his Bachelors degree in Public Service Administration through Grand Canyon University. Additionally he has completed several of the Fire Service Institute courses offered through Western and Eastern Oregon Universities. Captain Bullock has been an active member of several committees and teams while employed with District. These teams and committees include; the protocol and EMS committee, fire equipment purchasing, Regional Haz-Mat Response Team, and the District rescue team among others.
